Our Founder/Director
Jane Ekayu
Jane Ekayu worked as a counsellor at the Rachele Rehabilitation Centre in Northern Uganda from 2004-2006 as a trauma therapist for former child soldiers rescued from the Lords’ Resistance Army. After the Rachele centre closed, Jane realized that there was still a great need to keep supporting these boys and girls once they were reunited with their families. The children’s long-term challenges included trauma, lack of education and economic security, physical health complications, and community stigmatization.
